Putting People
Over Politics

I’m a Rancho Santa Margarita resident, mother, and local business owner and I am running to bring a strong, approachable, and transparent voice to City Council – one that values people over politics, community over ego, and smart, fiscally responsible decisions that strengthen RSM and keep it affordable for all.

A Strong & Educated Voice to Shape RSM's Future

For a thriving & affordable RSM

I’m running to bring a strong, educated, approachable, and transparent voice to City Council — one that values collaboration over politics and community over ego. With a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Doctorate in Business Administration, I bring a deep understanding of economics, leadership, and fiscal responsibility. I believe in nonpartisan, transparent, and practical decision-making — ensuring that every dollar benefits our residents, families, and neighborhoods, not vanity projects.

  • For a financially strong RSM
  • For a strong community
  • For the people
  • For a transparent RSM
  • For social responsibility
  • For an affordable RSM
  • For a safe RSM
  • For a kind RSM
  • For fiscal responsibility
  • For a positive city ROI

Areas of concern

My concerns reflect what residents feel every day: higher costs, fewer programs, and less accountability. We deserve transparent leadership that listens, prioritizes community needs & protects affordability so every resident can thrive.

Wasteful Spending & Ego Projects

Every dollar should serve residents, not vanity.

No Transparency and Accountability

Our community deserves open government.

A city hall that’s no longer listening

It’s time to restore trust and two-way communication.

City Revenue needs to adapt with growing cost

Our budget must stay strong to support residents.

City council cuts community programs

When essential programs are cut, affordability suffers

Safety and Resident Wellbeing

We must support the quality of life for all who call RSM home.

If you believe in this vision for RSM, consider making a contribution.

Campaign Program

My priorities

I’m focused on transparent leadership, smart budgeting, and thoughtful community investment. My goal is to support programs that improve quality of life — from youth enrichment and safety, to parks, infrastructure, and long-term financial sustainability.

What people say

I am so proud to support Dr. Natalie Guse for Rancho Santa Margarita City Council – District 2, 2026! If you’ve ever met Natalie, you know how genuine she is. She listens, she cares, and she always shows up for our community. Dr. Guse truly understand what RSM families and residents need – from affordable after-school care and bringing the Boys & Girls Club back, so that our kids have a safe, supportive place to grow, to eliminating vanity and ego projects and spending to bringing civility back to the City Council, she’s standing up for families, neighbors and the heart of RSM. That’s the kind of leadership our city deserves!

Yesenia Chang

Natalie is one of the most energetic, motivated and driven people that I have ever known. Since I met her, she has expressed her desire for helping others. She has the tools and the heart to help our community thrive -socially and financially. RSM couldn’t be in better hands than with Natalie.

Veronica Dominguez

RSM Resident & LMFT

You have my full support Dr. Natalie ! I have witnessed your kindness and generosity, your determination and passion for helping others first hand. My family believes that you are exactly what RSM needs. Not just RSM, but this world.

Janice Garcia

Mom and Friend

I have been impressed with Natalie’s leadership and grass roots organizing while working with her, along with other concerned citizens, during the effort to keep the Boys & Girls club in the community center in RSM. During this time, Natalie has shown empathy and understanding of the issues faced by the parents who were affected by the closure. Her skills in community organizing and accomplishments in her own business would make her a great leader. Her understanding of the issues makes her a perfect asset to our city by listening to the concerns of all constituents and taking appropriate responsible actions.

Mike Ebel

Resident & local business owner in RSM since 1998

I have had a chance to get to know Natalie Guse and call her my friend. She is an amazing mother and a successful business woman, but also a very kind and compassionate human. Natalie cares deeply for our community and our community members needs, she is more than qualified to represent my district in the City of RSM. I can’t wait to see that day!
